Error: "‘An error occurred while opening your account setup"

Receiving an error when opening a VoPay Account application

Once you’ve created your VoPay account and submitted your application, you won’t be able to return to that screen. After submission, the Sage compliance team will review your application to ensure it meets Canadian regulatory requirements, such as Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

While the review is in progress, the status will show as Created but not verified. This simply means the compliance team is still reviewing your application. Once the review is complete, the status in Sage will update to let you know whether your application was approved or declined.

If your application is approved, you’ll see the status Account setup complete in Sage Payroll. This message will appear at the top of the screen when you select Payments.
